He’s designed over 150 books in the past decade, and founded Pink Eraser Press as a partnership with Molly, working to create keepsake books that reflect the stories they contain. She began her career as a book designer in New York City, where she worked for seven years before moving to Maine. Ashley has worked with a variety of book publishing clients for the past fifteen years, including large and small publishing houses as well as self-published authors on all kinds of books. She writes for Vogue’s culture section and was formerly a producer of Vogue’s podcast, “The Run-Through.” Before that, she worked at several different audio startups and public radio stations. They have a particular interest in children’s and middle-grade fiction with a focus on themes of queerness, disability, and horror; they have also recently been dabbling in playwriting. Before coming to Pink Eraser Press, she interned at a literary agency, an editorial production company, and a publishing house, learning about each step of the publishing process.
